Andrea’s approach here at Rejuvenations integrates the Barral Institute concepts of listening to the body with one’s hands to determine primary restrictions within the body Once restriction patterns are located, gentle mobilization techniques are applied to restore the body's intrinsic balance, promoting optimal health and function.

Dry needling is an advanced treatment technique performed by licensed physical therapists to address a wide range of conditions involving the muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, and even post-surgical or injury-related scarring. Using a thin, sterile needle, therapists target areas of tissue dysfunction to release deep restrictions, reduce pain, and restore mobility. Beyond its musculoskeletal benefits, dry needling plays a key role in calming nerve irritability and desensitizing hypersensitive tissues, which can be especially helpful for chronic pain or conditions involving nerve-related symptoms like burning, tingling, or numbness. This approach also supports regulation of the autonomic nervous system, helping shift the body out of a heightened “fight or flight” mode and into a more restorative state. Many patients find dry needling to be a powerful complement to other therapies, especially for persistent pain, stress-related tension, or recovery from injury.
